Reunited!

Hi all! This isn't a full post but I wanted to give a quick update. The boys have made it through quarantine and are home with us! Until we find a place of our own, Taylor's parents are very graciously letting all of us stay at their house.

We were worried that they would be traumatized by their experience, but they seem to have made it through unscathed. It's always recommended to keep a cat contained in one room to assimilate to a new place. Pinky has never gotten that memo and has always treated a closed door as his one true nemesis. This time is no different. Within minutes, Pinky was at the bedroom door loudly demanding to explore the rest of his new home. We of course gave in almost immediately, and he was happy to start his surveying.

After being cooped up in quarantine, Atticus has wanted nothing more than to be outside at all times. He's especially happy that it's winter here so he can enjoy his favorite past time: frost rolling!

He's also very interested in his new neighbors.

Both boys have found their new favorite relaxing spots in the house too. Pinky has quickly commandeered a perch (borrowed from his cat cousin Binx) to lord over his new territory (or take a quick nap!).

And Atticus has discovered that he loves a good nap on his blanket by the fire.

Overall, both boys seem to have come through their crazy journey happy and healthy!
